Help Logging In . . .

Logging In

  1. Optional secure login (requires a current browser with 128-bit encryption): Prior to logging in, change "http" in the page URL in your browser's address bar to "https". Then press your "Enter" key. The page will refresh as a secure page. (Look for the closed lock symbol in the lower right-hand corner of the page.) If you "bookmark" the page with "https" in the address, you will be using our secure page to log in each time you return in the future.
  2. Put the email address you used to register your account in the E-mail box.
  3. Put the password you used to register your account in the Password box.
  4. Click on the Login button. This will put you on your account page.

When Things Go Wrong

Logging in before the account is verified.

  1. You will get an error message that says, Please check your e-mail to verify your account.
  2. Our system will also send you another verification email. If you keep trying to log in without clicking on the ACTIVATE link in the verification email, you will fill your inbox with verification emails: Our system is awfully persistent about seeing a proper account activation before it lets anyone log in.

The Login button is clicked without an email address in the E-mail box.

  1. You will get an error message, E-mail is required. Please try again.
  2. Start the log in process all over again.

The wrong email address, or password is entered.

  1. Entering either the wrong email address, or the wrong password, results in the same message, User not found or incorrect password. We don't say which one is incorrect, because that could help someone other than you log in to your account.
  2. Just start again, and make sure your email address and password match what you entered when you registered your account before you click on the Login button.

You have forgotten your password.

  1. Click on the FAQ link at the bottom of any page. Or click on the Info button at the top of any page.
  2. Once you're on the Info page, use the vertical slider on the right side of your browser to go to the bottom of the FAQ section. You will find a question, I can't remember my password. Can you send it to me? There is a box there for your email address. Put the email address that is associated with your account in the box.
  3. Click on the Continue button. If the email address you entered in Step 2 matches the email address of one of our accounts, we will email a new password for that account to that email address.

Before you ask . . . what if you're somewhere where you can't access your email account and you forgot your password? You have a hot deal pending. You must send that file. It's worth many millions of dollars to you. Will we use fax, email to another email address, telephone, bicycle messenger, telegraph, CB radio, instant messaging, SMS to your cell phone, snail mail, carrier pigeon, ham radio, overnight courier, let your mother come to our office, or any other method to send you your password? No.
